BPJS Enables Payment via Indomaret, Traditional Outlets

Jakarta-The healthcare department of the Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) is collaborating with PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret Group) and traditional outlets for nonbank payment methods.

The agency now enables premium payment through Indomaret and traditional outlets, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Monday, October 5.

BPJS Kesehatan president director Fachmi Idris said the agency is collaborating with 11,400 minimarkets and 2,489 traditional outlets in nonbank payment. For premium payment via banks, BPJS partners with Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI, and BTN.

"We are optimizing this type of payment to increase [payment] access for our participants," Fachmi said last week, Bisnis Indonesia quoted.

By the end of this year, BPJS Kesehatan is targeting to have 100,000 outlets serving its premium payment method.
