In an interview with reporter Eva Quigley for The Information Daily, Dr Naveen Chaudhri said that India has a talent pool of scientists and educated graduates, with many great universities.
“India is truly a democratic society, truly a democratic country. We have freedom of speech, we have freedom of thought and we are growing. We are all moving ahead, we have a lot of opportunity and we welcome anyone who wants to come over here,” he said.
Dr Chaudhri said that more and more multi-national companies are coming to India because “they have seen the benefits of India.” He said “All over the rest of the world, Europe has seen not very good times as far as the economy is concerned, [and] America is just about to come out of a major financial recession,” but India has “sustained itself very well financially and economically.”
“We have a very big talent pool of scientists and a very big talent pool of highly educated and qualified graduates and post graduates. We have many great universities in terms of engineering colleges, medical colleges and arts faculties.”
He finished “People who want to come to India can easily study over here. It is very cosmopolitan, english is spoken all over the country, so most foreign students would not find a problem. And like I said, it is very affordable.”
